Welcome To Anne Hugghins Gallery
Anne Grantham Hugghins is a prominent and well recognized painter by her peers throughout the Southeast.
She has an art studio and resides in Panama City, Florida. While a student at Auburn University, Anne worked for the Art Department under the tutelage of Professor Appleby. She painted in acrylics and watercolors for a few years and then realized that painting in oils was her calling and what she would pursue.
Anne has had many teachers who encouraged her and shared their talent and knowledge. Among those are the prominent and well recognized German artist Guido Frick who was a student of the late Russian Master, Sergei Bongart. She has also painted with well-known artist Ted Goershner, Kevin MacPherson, Charles Sovek, Ann Templeton and Camille Przewodek.
She has pursued art lessons during her travels to Europe and other foreign countries. Her favorite is the Tuscan/Umbrian area that seems to have a glow and one that she has not encountered elsewhere in her travels.
